Before I started my fitness journey, I was extremely depressed. I had been going through fertility treatments and had gained so much weight. I felt awful about myself. I was always mad, frustrated, and I did not want to do anything except watch TV and well, of course, eat! I was eating away my emotions, so I thought, but after eating and eating, my low self-esteem and depression was still there.

After having my third miscarriage, I decided I had to take back my life and I wasn't going to let all the hardships in my life control me anymore. I began this journey weighing 275 points and I decided I was going to lose 100 pounds in a year, so I messaged HLTHRx and asked them for help.

HLTHRx created a personalized meal plan for me, allowing me to eat 2,000 calories a day. Within this meal plan, I was still able to eat all of my favorite foods. This has helped me to not burn out and get tired of dieting. HLTHRx also set up a four-day workout plan for me. So I was off toward my life-changing transformation and now here we are six months later! I can run six miles without stopping and I have lost 66 pounds!!

After working with HLTHRx, I feel so much better, I'm much happier, and much more fit. This has really changed my life. I was in such a bad place six month ago! Thanks to HLTHRx for always encouraging me and answering any questions I ever have! Not only do I look better physically, but I'm 100% better mentally!

"I started the program weighing 157. I had already started by weight loss journey but had gotten bored and hit a plateau where I couldn’t lose any more weight. I was just doing what I thought was right. I hid behind cardio machines not feeling comfortable around weights. Being in a weight room terrified me because I didn’t know what people would say. Would they be watching me? Would they laugh? Would they say I’m doing it wrong? I sat my comfortable ways aside and started lifting.

As I did the workouts I was challenging myself more every week. Each time I stepped into the weight room I got more and more comfortable and everyone else seemed to disappear. It become me against myself. I was there getting better for myself and I stopped caring what the others around me thought. At the end of the program I weighed in at 132. I had lost 25 pounds in 15 weeks! I lost a total of 14.7% body and ended the program with 11.3% body fat!"

"...Although it wasn’t easy, I am so happy I did the program. At times I didn’t know if I would make it until the end. I would have to refocus and keep working toward my goal. I believed in myself and had the amazing support of strong docs and friends to keep pushing! If I had a hard day they were a message away to help hold me accountable and keep me moving through the program.

...This program has also been so rewarding. It has given me a new set of confidence that I have only dreamed of having! It has also given me enough knowledge to help other get through the same program! I am so excited to see where this new life gets me! I plan to continue to set goals and crush them! Thanks strong docs for believing in me and giving me the tools to be the person I knew I could always become! This is just the beginning for me!"

Throughout my entire life, I was an athlete. I had the opportunity to go on to be a collegiate athlete and play football for four years. During that time, I focused on getting bigger and bigger, constantly packing on muscle and adding strength as I thought that was the best thing for me. After my football career was over, I was ready for something new to push me to be my best self.

After much conversation about this plan, I knew it was not only what I wanted, but what I needed! I went through 15 weeks of testing my will and what I went through had the greatest return! As someone who was always wanting to get bigger, it was weird to see myself drop weight, but I loved how my body was changing. I questioned stopping because I felt that I was getting "too small." I knew I was already in so far, I couldn't stop, I had to keep pushing to be my best self!

I not only achieved my goal but I blew that goal out of the water and the hard work paid off! I didn't just follow a plan that I was given but I learned a lot about proper nutrition and how to take care of myself to perform at my best. I lost 27 pounds on this plan and I realized that this weight is where I belong. My body feels better, I can perform better, and I loved the way I was looking!

It felt so great knowing I did it all the correct way. You can achieve any health-related goal you want through proper nutrition and some hard work! This plan is the real deal for reaching new goals and educating yourself on how to get there! Not only did I finish this plan and reach a new goal but I kept pushing. I set new goals and achieved those by running a marathon and competing in a Strongman competition within one year of completing this program! It inspired my in so many ways to achieve new goals and push my body to its full potential!

In the past couple of years I have become a Grandpa, which was an odd term to hear at first. Although it is as awesome as everyone said it would be! I have worked out for most of my adult life, like most people would end up being out of the gym when major life events would happen. The birth of each one of my children, job changes, injuries etc. would have me out for months to years at times. My two older children are on their own now and my last one is a senior in high school, so life is changing again and I have more time for myself than in recent years. Well I realized once again that I had let myself go. Although I’m not prone to gain much weight I was in terrible shape. When I started 5 minutes on the elliptical had my legs burning and me feeling like I couldn’t breathe and was going to pass out!

I decided that I needed to get back in the gym and settled on doing the shed program. Followed the workouts exactly as prescribed and started light (have to do that as you get older) and just kept adding weight each week.

Worked on good form, being safe, and improving my diet at the same time. I never experienced any severe soreness this way, just kept sticking with the program. As my body shape began to improve and I was investing more time I naturally wanted to eat better to not cheat my gains or myself. I have to confess that it takes longer to get there as you get older, normally in 2 or 3 weeks I would be feeling good, but was physically tired for about 6 weeks before I turned the corner to feeling really good. I took the recommended supplements during the program and believe they helped with the performance, recovery, and results that I achieved.

I have never checked my body fat but can tell you my weight distribution went from the gut to the legs, chest, shoulders, and back – all places I would rather it be. Dropped 10 pounds, cut several inches off my waist and believe I am as fit as I have ever been in my life, and feel great too. Not bad for someone who will turn 50 in just a few weeks. My weight is currently 175 lbs., when I finished the program my bench was 260 lbs., squat was 295 lbs., deadlift was 375 lbs., and I can do 25 pull-ups on my first set to failure. Oh – and I can jump on the elliptical now and go for 20 minutes and carry on a conversation and never break a sweat. If you would have told me at the beginning I could be on there for 40 minutes or run for 40 minutes I would have said you were crazy. The program was fun, challenging, and very rewarding – the results far exceeded my expectations!!
